Dear all,
An update on my egg-cellent egg-ventures.
North of Copenhagen along the coast, is Karen Blixen’s (Isak Dinesen)’s home. She established a bird sanctuary in the woods behind her house. My kind of gal.
Just down the road is Louisiana, a lovely museum of modern art. I am attracted to ovoid shapes and Jean Arp was too.
My favorite spot in Copenhagen was Tivoli. Spent two evening there. Most eggs-citing of all, I learned to swim and made friends with some unbelievably colored ducks. The children loved them though, especially when they were able to pick them up with magnets attached to the strings on their fishing poles,
In Helsinki, my friends had lunch from the marketplace in the harbor, but I never seem to be hungry.
Are you my mother? They all said NO! I went to Skansen, a outdoor museum of old buildings in Stockholm.
These guys are on a bachelor’s party in Stockholm. The groom to be is the guy on the left, holding me. The pink thing around his neck is a plastic drinking tube. He had already used it a lot.
On the island of Gotland, they let the sheep wander around freely, but they warn you about them. They are actually very friendly.
Having a wonderful time. Bye for now. XXOO Petty
